Patient Advocate Blogger, P. Allen Jones has been a long-time health care advocate and blogger for people suffering with sickle cell disease.   
PamsPics/PAllenJ.JPG Featured in Ability Magazine (2009), the leading celebrity, health, and disability magazine, Jones life was profiled in Dancing with Sickle Cell Anemia where sickle cell disease got national attention. As a health advocate blogger for Our Voice, Jones speaks to millions of people world-wide about issues that affect those who suffer sickle cell disease.
As a featured writer for The Southern Sierra Messenger, Jones’ column “Ponder This…” offered poignant opinions on current events and politics. Jones’ book I Only Cry at Night is the autobiographic detail of the trials associated with living with sickle cell disease.  It is also a story about overcoming…..everything. 

Currently, Jones is expanding her love of writing to include her favorite subject, religion.  She is writing a book entitled “Ponder Faith…” to be released in December 2013. Jones lives and writes in California, is married with two children.
